Managing your energy

Why?

Today we need to be available 24hours of the day, 7 days of the week. Time never stands still.
A lot of people are uncomfortable with themselves.
How to maintain a balance? What can you do in order to lead a professionally successful and balanced life? These are the questions that will be covered in this module.
Not a reactive approach, but a proactive one: How do you deal with your energy and how can you manage and use that energy optimally.

What you will learn in this module.

We will place particular focus on the different aspects of energy management: the physical, the emotional and the mental. You will learn where you get your energy from for each of these aspects and also where you lose the same energy.
We look at the components that form the basis of our physical energy levels: food, exercise, sleep and breathing.
The emotional aspect is often neglected: How do you deal with restrictive emotions like anger or frustration? How can you make optimal use the power of positive emotions such as happiness and joy?
The power of positive thinking in the mental aspect is well known, but how do you go about implementing it? We will look at the visualisation technique that is used a lot in the sports world, and which is just as useful in business life.
Making effective use of your time is an art. Prioritising and setting goals are a crucial part of this. To what degree are you responsible for your own time and how do you manage with this unique and precious element? Tips and tricks and basic principles of time management are given their rightful place here.

Output.

After this session you will have gained a clear view of where your energy disappears and above all how you can make optimal use of this energy. You will have a concrete plan of approach that you can put immediately into practice and that forms the basis for a new, energetic beginning.
